Design engineer special machinery (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Design of extruders and extrusion heads for the rubber industry
• Construction of equipment for the continuous vulcanisation of profiles using microwaves, infrared, hot air and salt bath
• Design of system assemblies such as caterpillar haul-offs, cooling systems, winders, etc. for integration into complete production lines
• New and further development of machines and system assemblies
• Optimisation of existing and new designs with regard to quality, cost-effectiveness and occupational safety
• Creation of parts lists, cooperation with the purchasing department in the selection of articles, services and suppliers
• Supporting the sales department in the preparation of offers

Your profile:

• You have a degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or plastics technology
• You have experience as a design engineer in mechanical engineering or special machine construction
• You have sound knowledge in the use of 3D CAD programmes
• You have good English skills
• You are characterised by a structured way of working, social skills and a confident and convincing manner
